I was raised right here in the Kansas City metro, and this community has always been home to me. Growing up in the KC area taught me the value of a handshake and an honest day’s work. Values I carried with me through a career on the railroad.

Back in 2015, I felt stuck. I knew I wanted a different pace of life for my family, so I turned to real estate with a clear mission: flip enough houses to move us out to the country. At the time, “us” included my wife, two kids, two dogs, and two potbelly pigs.

Today, that vision is a reality. We’ve traded the city lights for country nights, where we’re currently raising 4 rescue dogs and 10 rescue potbelly pigs (it’s a unique life, and we love every bit of it!).

Because I’m a local who has navigated my own big life transitions, I don’t look at houses as just “inventory.” I see them as the keys to someone else’s fresh start.
